Dunya began as a question: what would luxury look like if it were measured in stillness rather than square footage? In the depth of an encounter with a landscape, not the thread count of the sheets? We believe the most extraordinary places on earth have stayed out of reach, because reaching them has always meant changing them. Dunya exists to change that.
HOW WE OPERATE
Our spherical sanctuaries are placed in landscapes that stop time — desert dunes, Arctic silence, ancient forest, open sky. Each sphere is designed to disappear into its setting, to hold a guest gently, and to leave the land as it found it. Nothing is permanent. Everything is intentional.

About the founder
Sarah founded Dunya Living from a belief that true luxury is stillness — the rare experience of being fully present in a landscape that holds you rather than distracts you. With 15 years of international hospitality experience and an MSc in International Hospitality Business Management (SHMS, with Distinction), she has lived, worked, and studied across borders, drawing on a Finnish and Romanian heritage that shaped an early instinct for both discipline and depth of feeling.
That international grounding informs Dunya's ambition: mirrored spheres placed in the world's most extraordinary remote landscapes, built not to dominate their surroundings but to disappear into them. Sarah leads Dunya's vision, brand, and partnership model, working to bring a new form of ultra-luxury hospitality — one rooted in nature, restraint, and transformation — to life around the world.
